The Cult of Elune - Evolution

Religion in a fantasy settings can be interesting to pick up. From how they shape a society and how its people behaves to see how it can evolve through the times.
I picked the Cult of Elune from Blizzard's universe to make a study on how the symbolisms can change through time.
It started with a group of forest trolls that became the Night Elves (Kaldorei). We take into consideration that this in the begining was still a very tribal society.
We end the study with the Nightborne which were completely isolated from their kin (they were already part of a group of city elves, so the setting has already changed).
Each picture will have a description of the changes I made from the early form of the cult and I use as inspiration other fantasy settings and real life.

Tribal elves, savage looks and posture apply. The power they get from Elune is more powerful here and manifests itself a lot.
The clothing is simple and white. Silver is used in filligree as ornament and leather. The scythe is Elune's weapon of choice.

With the protective shield down, what remains of the Cult of Elune inside Suramar can step out. Clothing is more ellaborate and the posture more regal. The moon is still represented but more silver is used. Isolation has dimmed their power.
